Dear Residents of the Bryan City School District:

On May 2, 2017, we have the opportunity to vote to RENEW the Bryan City Schools emergency operating levy for another five years.  This is NOT A NEW TAX, but a RENEWAL of the levy that was first passed in 2002.

This operating levy is critical to our district because it raises $1.9 million per year, or 9.5% of our operating budget.  Without this renewal, our school’s budget would have to be cut significantly, and it would undoubtedly have a huge impact on programs and services we can offer our kids.  If you cut right to the chase, this operating levy is FOR OUR KIDS!
